Jon describes his creative process as one where “the song writes me,” allowing his active and vibrant spiritual life to shape music intended to inspire listeners toward their own spiritual awakening.

A Licensed Professional Counselor and seasoned practitioner in personal healing and empowerment, Jon has dedicated over 30 years to guiding individuals—especially teens—toward bringing their best to the world. His extensive background includes founding Wolakota Youth Programs, a non-profit organization supporting at-risk youth, and offering trauma-focused therapy through Omega Youth Empowerment. His expertise also includes advanced clinical hypnotherapy, shamanic practices, and empowerment experiences for school communities.

Jon’s music reflects his journey as both a student of his own story and a guide for others. Themes of healing, connection, and spiritual growth flow through his songs, many of which carry the essence of Native spirituality. His relationships with indigenous individuals and communities over the past 25 years have profoundly influenced his music, and he seeks to honor the wisdom and blessings these connections have brought to his life.
